Lassen Municipal Utility District

Voters created Lassen Municipal Utility District (LMUD) in November 1986. Prior to this vote, the Lassen District received electric service from CP National Corporation (CPN). On May 10, 1988, LMUD acquired electrical facilities from CPN.

“The mission of Lassen Municipal Utility District is to serve our community. We strive to provide reliable service at the most reasonable cost with a focus on safety and sustainability. We continue to work toward being an integral part of the community we serve while maintaining a skilled and valued workforce.”
