Our story in this industry began with a big dream of financial independence and personal development. We yearned for a business that could provide a better future for our daughters, which represents the first two letters of our name as it matches the initials of all three of our beautiful babies, Aaliyah Mia, Aaysel Miley, and Aaberly Mae.

My husband grew up in the small and thriving town of Elko, Nevada and I moved here to join him about five years ago from Las Vegas. Like many others in Elko, my husband was a gold miner that worked long hours, had crazy schedules, and even crazier family lives. At the same time, I attended college, raised our daughters as a stay-at-home mothers, and took care of all the household tasks. We fell into a routine and quickly decided that it was time to explore options that would allow for our entrepreneurship spirit to grow. We started with the idea of becoming business owners and I quickly began my education in the beauty industry.

I received my esthetician license and began with a small lash extension business that quickly turned into a want to provide other individuals the same chance at obtaining their education in the beauty industry. We had a lot of work ahead of us and after a million phone calls, a million questions, and a huge amount of pinching and saving, we are proud to introduce AM Beauty Institute to the rural town of Elko and surrounding areas.
