Conductor Camp
Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Henderson Symphony Orchestra proudly presents the Conductor Camp, an innovative training initiative conceived by HSO Music Director Alexandra Arrieche. Initially designed to assist her colleagues in Brazil, where opportunities in this field are scarce, the camp has evolved into a comprehensive program. The Conductor Camp now offers an extensive curriculum that includes career mentorship, creative programming, rehearsal techniques, and audition preparation.
Since its inception in 2019, the camp has flourished with the support of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Nevada Arts Council. The HSO Conductor Camp is set to continue enriching the careers of conductors from across the nation and around the world for many years to come.
