Healthy Housing Rosemead
Healthy Housing Rosemead (HHR) is a coalition aimed at addressing cleaner air and promoting healthier, stable housing in Rosemead. During the pandemic, they shifted efforts online, using social media to share information about secondhand smoke, smoke-free housing policies, and COVID-19 resources. They have expanded to focus on mental and behavioral health, particularly stimulant and opioid use disorders, and support harm reduction practices. HHR also conducts in-person education and outreach in collaboration with local organizations and participates in various community events. They aim to raise awareness about secondhand smoke, housing policies, and opioid and stimulant use disorders.
