Safe and Supportive Temporary Housing for Single Mothers

Seton House is a dedicated program that offers safe and secure temporary housing for single mothers and their children who are facing homelessness. Our goal is to provide a nurturing and empowering environment where mothers can stabilize their lives and work towards a brighter future for themselves and their children.

Our program accommodates nine mothers, each with up to two children under the age of 10. We understand the importance of creating a supportive community, which is why we offer up to six months of comprehensive services to our residents. During their stay, mothers work closely with a dedicated case manager who guides and supports them in achieving both individual and program goals.

At Seton House, we prioritize the well-being of our residents, recognizing the importance of mental health. Mothers have access to weekly group therapy sessions, where they can connect with others facing similar challenges and receive valuable support. Additionally, individual counseling is available every week to address personal concerns and promote emotional healing and growth.

We believe in the power of community collaboration, and our Case Managers are committed to assisting mothers in establishing vital community linkages. This includes connecting them with resources, services, and opportunities that can aid them on their path to long-term employment and permanent housing. We are dedicated to providing the necessary support to empower mothers as they strive for self-sufficiency and stability.

For mothers who have experienced domestic violence or struggled with substance abuse, we offer specialized support groups that address their unique needs. These support groups provide a safe space for sharing experiences, gaining insights, and fostering healing and recovery.

Seton House is more than just temporary housing; it is a place of refuge, growth, and transformation. Join us as we provide single mothers and their children with the support, resources, and opportunities they need to overcome homelessness and build a brighter future.
