The last reason for the name is a play on words with us personally. The Dalles is our last stop. We fell in love with The Dalles while visiting and decided this was the place we would semi-retire. We purchased a historic home and planned our departure from the daily grind. The Dalles has become our new home and we've decided to invest in this historic place and do our part to rebuild the downtown area and preserve the historic significance of The Dalles.
