Igloo Rec Center, The

Welcome to the Igloo Recreation Center, a 25,000-square-foot multi-functional center designed for year-round sports, activities, and events. The Igloo was renovated from a cold storage facility in 1994 and is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization owned and operated by volunteers.

Seven groups call the Igloo home: Elko Hockey Association, AYSO, Elko Gymnastics Club, Elko Gold Base Ball, Elko Archery Club, Amigo USA, and Nevada East Roller Girls. Additional uses of the Igloo are community events such as a monthly Family Skate Night, dances, and concerts.

About the Igloo

The Igloo Rec Center located in Elko, Nevada hosts several organizations and events. The facility is available to the public for parties and events at a per hour fee.

The Igloo Rec Center is currently fundraising to build an outdoor ice rink. This facility would be a benefit to the entire community. Please feel free to contact Matt Burwell or the Elko Hockey Association for donation information.
