Hello! Im Dr. Angel
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
My psychotherapy experience has focused on working with a variety of populations including community mental health, LGBTQ, crisis counseling, dependency, adoption, trauma, and psychological assessments. I am passionate about helping my patients reach their potential and find their purpose as she utilizes a strength-based approach for empowerment. My treatment is individualized for each patients needs and strengths and provides individual and family counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
I also have a passion for research in which she is continually working on cutting-edge research to contribute to the field of psychology. Her research includes topics such as LGBTQ, religion, trauma, and mindfulness-based practices. Ive given professional presentations on a variety of mental health topics at such venues as foster and adoption parent associations, Florida Dependency Conference, Social Work Conferences, as well as various community agencies across the state.
