Rebecca was raised in Pinckneyville, Illinois. She left for a time to practice law in Pennsylvania but returned to be near her family and raise her children where she was raised. After graduating law school in 2001, Rebecca clerked with a trial court judge. She then worked with various law firms over the years, handling cases in areas including family law, estate, bankruptcy, and litigation in general. She opened her own firm to provide services to her local community.
