About Don Huey Custom Building and Remodeling Inc.
In 1976, Don Huey, a young man from Gipsy, PA started helping his neighbors with small construction projects out of his parent's garage. This childhood home became the humble start of Don Huey Custom Building & Remodeling, Inc.
In just two years, Don Huey had proven himself as a capable contractor and the opportunity to open his own shop became a reality. Don Huey Custom Building & Remodeling, Inc. first opened its doors in 1978 at a small facility in Shelocta, PA.
The next two decades were exciting times with more construction opportunities and additional employees being added with the step-by-step approach.
By 1998 the company had grown to a point that the first major relocation was necessary, this time to a larger shop along North 4th Street in the bustling borough of Indiana, PA. The new facilitys size and location helped continue the growth of the previous two decades.
In 2004, continued expansion leads to another relocation to what is now known as The Farm a sprawling 37-acre facility nestled into the rolling hills at 23 Campbell Lane, Indiana PA. Now with enough space and a proven team of experts behind him, all of Don Hueys business entities have thrived under one roof.
