About Wickenburg Children's Cultural Organization
Nestled in the center of Wickenburg is a one-room schoolhouse built-in 1905. First a school for 75 years, then a local bank branch, today it houses the nonprofit organization Wickenburg Childrens Cultural Organization (WCO). WCO is working to take the schoolhouse back to its roots of education and learning by making the building available to the whole community!
The WCO is dedicated to the community and its children, supporting musical opportunities for local schools. Through the Garcia Little Red Schoolhouse, the WCO now has even more opportunity for the community to have a gathering place for local events through the use of the newly-improved facility, beautiful park setting, the only open-air basketball court downtown, and the lovely gazebo!
