Norwalk Ready Mix Concrete, Inc. was founded by Jack and Susan Bohlender in 1971 in Norwalk, Iowa. Jack started with one only employee and two used ready mix trucks. Jack and his lone employee Dick Phipps, would take an order, load their trucks, come back and do it again. Since then the company and fleet of trucks have grown.
