Sacramento Valley Conservancy

Mission The Sacramento Valley Conservancys mission is to preserve the beauty, character, and biodiversity of the Sacramento Valley landscape by protecting and stewarding natural and working lands, and scenic open spaces for the benefit of current and future generations. Conservation & Recreation Founded in 1990, SVC has permanently protected more than 18,000 acres in a five county region. These lands include working farms, ranches, wildlife habitat, safe flood zones, oak woodlands, rare vernal pool wetlands, hiking trails, and outdoor classrooms for kids. Come connect with open space on one of our nature preserves for a hike, horseback ride, trail run, mountain bike ride, picnic or guided educational tour. Or contact us for information about how to host your own public or private event on one of our properties. Support As a 501c3 nonprofit, SVC relies heavily on community support. Sponsorship opportunities and benefits exist for a wide range of programs and events. Plus, we are always interested in new ways to partner with local supporters, businesses, and grantors. For more information about our current opportunities, or to discuss your ideas, please contact our team.
