Welcome to the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, a distinguished organization with a rich history and a steadfast commitment to fostering economic development, opportunities, and education. Established in 1975 by 14 visionary members of the Hispanic business community, the Hispano Chamber has since evolved into a dynamic network of approximately 1,000 dedicated business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Our primary mission is to empower individuals and scale small businesses, contributing to the economic growth and wealth creation of Albuquerque and the entire state of New Mexico.
As one of the largest Hispanic chambers in the nation and the foremost chamber of commerce in New Mexico, the Hispano Chamber takes pride in its inclusive approach. While rooted in a historical focus on the Hispanic community, we proudly declare ourselves the Small Business Chamber, embracing entrepreneurs of all backgrounds. Our diverse membership, comprising approximately 60% Hispanic-owned businesses and 40% non-Hispanic-owned businesses, reflects our commitment to unity, collaboration, and the overarching goal of advancing the economic landscape for all.
