Our roots trace back to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where our founder, a licensed general contractor, began their journey in the building industry.
Having started as a production homes assistant superintendent, our founder accumulated invaluable experience by overseeing the construction of hundreds of production homes. The career trajectory evolved, culminating in the role of superintendent as a builder of high-performance homes compliant with the rigorous Building America standards. This wealth of knowledge and dedication to efficiency became the cornerstone for our subsequent venture, Off the Grid Builders, LLC. Under this banner, we continued to implement sustainable practices, ensuring that every structure we built reflected a commitment to energy efficiency.
Beyond construction, our founder's passion for environmentally conscious building practices led to the attainment of LEED AP status, underscoring our dedication to creating spaces that harmonize with the planet. While we call Lubbock, Texas, our primary residence, our reach extends to North Eastern New Mexico, where we manage a ranch.
