We offer a simplified healthcare service for all ages that saves our patients time, money and better addresses your health concerns in timely fashion. Our goal is to keep you healthy by taking the time to determine WHY your health is suffering instead of just quickly treating symptoms. We want to treat the problem and hopefully eliminate or minimize it to avoid/minimize expensive medications with undesirable side effects, procedures, trips to the ER etc unless necessary.
We do not accept insurance. Our fee is for the visit with the provider.
We offer two options:
1. Our direct primary care membership is paid monthly and includes up to an hour face to face with the provider AND unlimited visits (obviously within reason) each month with no additional cost. Members will benefit from priority for same or next day appointments, discounted medications, discounted labs, after hours access to the provider via text for urgent concerns, telehealth at no charge and other procedures at a discounted rate. At your visit we will get to know you and have the time to address multiple concerns in the same visit. We also do home visits when appropriate for a minimal extra fee. You will save by not having to come in and pay for every little concern that comes up. If appropriate, often we can deal with minor things by text or telehealth. Membership can be canceled at any time but there are no refunds and an additional fee will apply each time you cancel and restart a membership.
2. We have another option for those yet skeptical about a membership. You can pay per visit but the fee is paid every time you come in. It does not include after hours access to the provider or the other benefits listed for members. Your appointments for chronic care are scheduled for up to one hour.
For those of you thinking, "I already have insurance"!!! Not accepting insurance means the fee you pay us is our paycheck. We do not get reimbursed hundreds of dollars MORE by insurance as do traditional clinics. Our care for you is not based on checking boxes required by insurance and extra steps required by funding agencies that take more time from the issues you want and need addressed. Are you happy with your healthcare? Are you getting the time you need with your preferred provider when you need it? Do you feel heard? Are you having to make multiple trips (paying a co-pay each time) because you are limited on time to address your concerns? Are you waiting days to months to get an appointment with your preferred provider? If you are we are really happy for you!!!! If not come and see us at High Road Family Healthcare!!! If you have insurance this can still be used for specialists, hospital costs, labs and x-rays, medications, etc-the things insurance is necessary for. People with no or high deductible insurance will definitely appreciate our savings for high quality healthcare. We want you to avoid the high cost of urgent care and emergency rooms! BUT IF YOU THINK YOU ARE HAVING A LIFE-THREATENING CONDITION GO TO ER. WE ARE NOT AN EMERGENCY ROOM!!! We all have car insurance with a deductible yet we change oil, change tires, upgrade with seat covers, add a better stereo at additional cost. Why not invest in your health!!!!! We are not the best option for Medicaid because we do not receive payment from Medicaid so they will not recognize/cover the cost of our orders. If you have Medicare, we are unable to charge you a fee for visits covered by Medicare-please call if you have questions.
