NAMI Northern Virginia advocates to improve the lives of people affected by mental health conditions. Our ongoing advocacy work builds support for public policies to protect and improve mental health services, increase access to mental health services in the public and private sectors, and support effective recovery services for adults and youth with mental illness. We use the power of lived experience to shape how our community helps people with mental illness
