The Bachelor of Applied Science in Strategic Leadership (SL) program at Lake-Sumter State College educates leaders to effectively manage their organizations and positively impact their communities. Graduates of this program have diverse career paths open to them in a broad range of industries which may include: sales, retail, small business, government, public safety, healthcare, criminal justice, and not-for-profit organizations.

B.S. Nursing
Degree Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at Lake Sumter State College is designed for individuals who hold a pre-licensure nursing degree (AS/AA) or diploma from a regionally accredited institution and are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) or hold an active RN license.

The RN to BSN program focuses on generalist nursing practice in increasingly global, diverse, and continually changing health care systems. The final Capstone course integrates knowledge gained throughout the program in leadership, management, research, ethics, health policy, and population health. Graduates are well-positioned to enter a wider range of nursing careers, enjoy clinical advancement, and continue on to graduate education.
