New Student Advising & Registration Session

All first-time college and dual enrollment students are required to complete a New Student Advising & Registration session prior to registering for classes. Transfer students are encouraged, but not required, to complete a session.

Be sure to submit your official high school transcript or a copy of your GED to Admissions as soon as possible. These documents contain information that is vital in helping your academic advisor help you plan your first-semester class schedule.

You are able to register for a New Student Advising & Registration session once you have been accepted to LSSC and know your LSSC Student X-ID.

Register for a Session
All New Student Advising & Registration sessions will be facilitated in an online environment. You will receive an email message 24 hours prior to the start of your online session with important documents and a link to the session.

When registering, please:

1. Enter your Student ID number (X-ID) in the following format: X00_ _ _ _ _ _
2. Select a session that is appropriate for your student type: Dual Enrollment or First Time in College
3. If you receive an error after clicking the link, try clearing your cache or using a different browser
4. If you receive a login error message, make sure that you have chosen the semester that matches your entry term on your admission's application.
