The float crew (known as the Float Toads) builds, maintain, and shows the Spokane Lilac Festival Float for the Lilac Parade and during the summer in the Pacific Northwest for community parades and events.

It takes thousands of hours of our amazing volunteers time to construct the Festival Float.

We are a friendly group and would love to have you join us! We need skilled volunteers with wiring, welding, and woodworking skills as well as anyone at any skill level just to enjoy building the float with us.

We usually work every Saturday from January till the float is finished as well as adding other work nights as we progress and get closer to the Parade.

If interested, give our office a call and we can provide you with more information.

We are a non-profit organization. High school senior girls participate in an interview process for a spot on the Spokane Lilac Festival Royal Court. They earn scholarships, volunteer, make public appearances, ride in parades and inspire future princesses.
