As we enter the start of 2022/23, a total of 26 players have progressed through the Academy to make their first team debuts for the Club, with almost 400 league appearances having been made by academy players since 2011.
The Academy prides itself on being a player-centered development program that has a target to produce a first team year-on-year made up of 50% Academy graduates who carry the values of the Club.

In 2002, the Wimbledon football club we knew and loved ceased to exist. Snatched away from our fans and our community, the club was shamefully allowed by an FA commission to be airlifted to another town 70 miles away, where it carried on under a different owner and different supporters.
