Volunteers

Volunteers act as facilitators walking alongside grieving children, teens, and adults, providing a safe environment during support group nights in a small group setting.

All volunteers attend comprehensive training designed to help prepare them for the year ahead. You will learn many tools to help not only our families but also yourself on this journey. Consistency in volunteers is essential to Billy’s Place and the families we serve. Continuing education of three hours per year is required to enhance your skills further.
